Navy Band Northeast Ceremonial Band
Established in 1974, Navy Band Northeast is based on board NAVSTA Newport and is one of 11 official U.S. Navy bands worldwide, providing musical support for military ceremonies, recruiting, morale and retention programs, and community relations. Under the direction of Lieutenant Gregory Fritz, this group of 35 professional Navy musicians supports more than 300 engagements annually throughout an 11-state area of responsibility, performing regularly for high-ranking military and civilian dignitaries, Navy Recruiting, public outreach and awareness efforts, and partnership in education programs throughout the Northeast United States. The ensemble performs a wide range of music from patriotic, classical, contemporary, big band swing, country, and the latest top-40 hits.

Local Gospel singer Kenneth Johnson is well known in Rhode Island for his powerful and unique style. Originally an R&B performer in New York, Johnson is currently the Director of the Community Baptist Church Men’s Choir. Johnson’s first CD was released in May of 2016. Talented as both a singer and a songwriter, Johnson’s CD, Titled “You’ve Got My Love,” showcases his mastery of both.
Youth Director at EFC Newport since 2014, Chris McCabe is also establishing himself in the competitive field of Christian rap/hip hop. A graduate of SUNY Cortland with an undergraduate degree in exercise science, Chris left graduate school in 2014 to pursue music. With the release of his first CD in October 2015, McCabe’s popularity continues to rise pulling him further into the New England Christian music field. Using the young urban sounds of his songs McCabe’s goal is to draw listeners away from stereotyped images of the idolization of money and worldly pursuits. He believes the Holy Spirit fuels his music creating a powerful positive message.
Kimo Baker has been was singing in churches since he was a child. Originally travelling as a trio across the country with his parents Jim and Sandra Baker, he would join them singing the Gospel greats. In 1996 Baker began leading worship for his church college group. He played weekly to the church's over 3,000 members.
In 2001 Baker began his first Pastoral position as the Pastor of Worship at Yorba Linda Baptist Church. Since then he has continued his Pastoral ministry as both a Pastor of Worship and a Lead Pastor. He has traveled across the country helping to leading worship for such events as the New England Festival of Hope, New England Prayer Fest, United Night of Worship Boston, Purpose Driven Worship Conference and The North East Calvary Chapel annual worship conference.
He is currently the Interim Pastor of Worship at Osterville Baptist Church on Cape Cod where he lives with his wife and two children.
Pastor Zac Lenz along with his wife Ashley, founded His Providence Church in Seekonk, Massachusetts in the winter of 2011. A graduate of Zion Bible College, Lenz is has been performing Christian music since the young age of 13. From the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to various locations throughout the southeast, Lenz traveled with a Christian band until he came to college in Massachusetts. After acting as the worship leader at the South Attleboro Assemblies of God, Lenz moved onto the step of founding the new church in Seekonk.

Worship Arts Pastor at the Groton Bible Chapel since 2014, Geeze is originally from Auburn, Massachusetts. With a degree in Communications from Houghton College, Geeze led the worship team for 8 years at his hometown church in Auburn. After graduation in 2012 Jonny travelled the east coast leading a variety of worship teams. He and his wife Kate live in Waterford, CT.
